The Gospel of Jesus Christ

Share the gospel with those who have not yet believed in the Lord Jesus.

The Gospel is this:

Jesus is the only begotten Son of the living God—who is God Himself.

He came into the world in human flesh, suffered the punishment of the cross, died, and on the third day rose again from the dead, to pay the price for the sins of the world, so that all who believe in Him may receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

“The kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

What should you do after hearing the Gospel?

Since you have heard the gospel, what can you do?

01

Trust in the Lord Jesus

The Bible says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9-11 KJV
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
— Romans 10:9-11 KJV
“For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”
— Romans 10:9-11 KJV
02

Read the Bible Carefully and Diligently

You should obtain a Bible and read it from beginning to end, word for word, to understand the truth of the Scriptures.

Currently, it is recommended to read the KJV (King James Version) English Bible.

Through the Scriptures, you can understand the purpose for which our Heavenly Father created us.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
— Romans 10:17 KJV

Therefore, you must continue to read and study the Bible, for it is these Scriptures that testify of Jesus.

03

Pray, Repent, and Follow the Lord

Continue to pray, seeking more help from God: to understand the Bible better, to truly understand salvation, and to receive stronger faith.

Renounce all detestable idols and graven images, and repent of all the evil deeds you have committed.

Then you must be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is full immersion in water.

The Bible says, he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, and salvation means you must continue to believe.

Once you are born again and saved, all the knowledge of how to live out your faith and follow God is completely recorded in the Bible.

The Great Commission of the Lord Jesus

Matthew

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying:

“All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
— Matthew 28:18-20 KJV

Mark

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
— Mark 16:15-16 KJV

Luke

“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
— Luke 24:45-48 KJV

May the living God, the Heavenly Father, bless you according to the words of the Bible—He is the Word of God.

May the Gospel soon reach the ends of the earth as a witness.

Thanks be to the eternal Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Glory be to the Lord Jesus God!

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
